Advanced endometriosis is a different disease from a normal chocolate cyst, and its diagnosis and treatment requires a separate expertise. The diagnosis of deep-seated endometriosis occurs in patients with the above complaints by first thinking that they have this disease. In patients who come with these complaints, the diagnosis is made by detailed gynecological examination, advanced ultrasound examinations, magnetic resonance and tomography examinations if necessary.
Patients with deep placing endometriosis can get pregnant with surgical treatment
Surgery is usually a treatment to this. laparoscopy surgery is the most preferred method. It takes place with an advanced surgical experience and the skills and training of the surgeon on this subject over the years. Some patients with deep-seated endometriosis have problems with conceiving. Surgery increases pregnancy rates. This disease occurs in 3 parts, the first part is the partition between the uterus and the intestine, the second part is the ligaments on the side and back of the uterus, and the third part is endometriosis, which progresses behind the uterus in front of the intestine and into the intestine.
Surgical treatment is conducted this way.
- If the patient has chocolate cysts, they are removed.
- Cutting the suspensory ligaments to the uterus depending on the attachment sites of endometriosis, clearing the foci of endometriosis
- Cleaning the endometriosis foci on the anterior surface of the intestine
- The endometriosis foci in intestine is removed by cutting the intestine when necessary.
